NSFAS Application Date For College 2025

Apply for NSFAS Funding from November 21, 2024. Applications for 2025 will now close on 31st January 2025. All applications must be submitted before the closing date as late applications may not be considered.

Who Qualify For NSFAS Bursary At TVET College 2025

To be considered for NSFAS funding at a TVET college in 2025, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • South African citizens or permanent residents
  • SASSA grant recipients
  • Applicants whose combined gross household income is not more than R350 000 per year
  • Persons with disabilities whose combined gross household income is not more than R600 000 per year.

Documents Required To Apply For NSFAS At Colleges 2025

NSFAS applicants for the 2024 academic year must submit the following documents as required of them to apply;

Students with disabilities must provide:

  • A completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form

Students recognised as vulnerable children must provide:

  • An applicant who is recognised as a vulnerable child by the Department of Social Development must provide and Vulnerable Child Declaration form completed by a social worker

Other documents that may be required, if applicable:

  • Retrenchment letter
  • Death certificate/s
  • Divorce Decree
  • Proof of legal guardianship
  • Marriage certificate
  • other documents may be required for appeal purposes,….eg retrenchment letter.

  • Apply now:
