ISFAP Postgraduate Bursary 2025
The Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme (ISFAP) Bursary Applications for the 2025 intake will be open on 3 June 2024 at 12h00 Midday for financially needy students that fall under the categories of “Poor” and “Missing Middle” students. Therefore, all postgraduate applicants who qualify for ISFAP bursary for the 2025 academic year should submit an online application via ISFAP official website at www.isfap.org.za.
Application for an ISFAP bursary 2025 does not in any way guarantee that you will be selected for funding. There is a strict selection process based on merit and funder requirements and finding is limited. ISFAP bursary funding is made available through the contributions of various donors in the public and private sector. ISFAP will provide funding opportunities to first year undergraduate students in 2024, but does not guarantee funding for all applicants.

- The allowances consist of the following: monthly allowances that cover books and stationary, transportation, student accommodation and a living allowance.

Who Qualifies for ISFAP Funding Bursary in 2025?
The following students are eligible for ISFAP funding:
- South African citizen
- Applicants with provisional acceptance(s) from ISFAP partner universities
- Applicants from families with annual income between R0 – R600 000.00 per annum.
- Applicants that do not already have other bursaries or Scholarships (including NSFAS)
- You must have passed matric or in matric and have done the National Benchmark Test (NBT)
Documents Needed for ISFAP Bursary 2025 Online Application
The following documents are required for ISFAP Funding bursary in 2025
- A certified ID copy of the applicant
- A certified copy of latest academic results (Grade 11 or Matric)
- A certified ID copies of parents / guardians / household contributor
- A signed consent form (Applicant & Household Contributors) certified by Commissioner of Oaths

- Entrepreneurship
- Engineering
- Humanities
- Advance Diploma in Technical and Vocational Teaching

- Fill out the online application form with your details
- Upload all the required supporting documents
- Complete and submit your application for evaluation
Once all assessments are finalized by ISFAP, you can expect feedback on your online application around the last week of February or early March 2025. If you have received an offer from another bursary provider, you can choose to accept the bursary funding you have received
