UNISA Online Application Opening Date And Deadline 2025/2026
The online application portal of UNISA for the 2025/2026 academic year will soon open. The application closing dates for the various qualifications are provided below;
- Undergraduate Qualification/Honours Degrees and Postgraduate Diplomas:
The application portal for undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas closes on November 17, 2024. Applications from Colleges including; Accounting Sciences, College of Science, Engineering and Technology close on 31 January 2025.
- Master’s & doctoral qualifications
The application portal for the second semester Master’s qualification for the 2025/2026 academic year starts on 15th April And Ends On 10th May 2025 ( some exceptions apply).
- short learning programmes
Applications and registrations for short learning programmes for the 2025 academic year will open from 19th May To 19th July 2025

When may I apply for UNISA Second Semester 2025?
2nd-semester applications for the 2025 academic year will be open for limited undergraduate qualifications from 15 April to 10 May 2025.

- R135.00 for online applications
Documents Required To Apply for Admission At UNISA 2025/2026
Prospective students of UNISA for the 2025/2026 academic year are required to upload certified copies of the following documents;
- Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
- Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted)
- Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
- Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
- Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans
International students-undergraduate
- Copy of your school qualifications. For a list of acceptable school qualifications for admission per country
- Copy of your tertiary academic qualifications (if applicable)
- Copy of your passport
- Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
- Original sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans
- M30 form – Application for a Certificate of Conditional Exemption (ONLY for admission to bachelor degree studies) (PDF 157KB) and supporting documents if you are applying for a certificate of exemption
- For postgraduate qualifications and evaluation of the qualification from SAQA
