NSFAS Online Application Opening Date And Deadline 2025-2026

The application will begin On 21st November 2024, therefore eligible and interested students may begin to apply now.

The application Will Close On January 31 2025.

NSFAS may not consider late applications, therefore, prospective applicants are advised to submit their applications before the deadline.

Who Can Apply For NSFAS 2025-2026

If you are a South African citizen planning to study in 2025 or are currently enrolled at a public university or TVET college and meet the following eligibility conditions, you are eligible for an NSFAS bursary:

South African citizens or permanent residents
SASSA grant recipients
Applicants whose combined gross household income is not more than R350 000 per year
Persons with disabilities whose combined gross household income is not more than R600 000 per year.
Must have an email account and cell phone number.

How to Apply For NSFAS Online 2025/2026

Documents To Apply For NSFAS Online 2025/2026

A completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form

Students recognised as vulnerable children must provide:

An applicant who is recognised as a vulnerable child by the Department of Social Development must provide and Vulnerable Child Declaration form completed by a social worker

Other documents that may be required, if applicable:

Retrenchment letter
Death certificate/s
Divorce Decree
Proof of legal guardianship
Marriage certificate
