What Documents Do I Need to Apply for NSFAS 2024?

You must submit the following supporting documents for your NSFAS Application 2024:

Students with disabilities must provide:

A completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form.

Students recognised as vulnerable children must provide:

An applicant who is recognised as a vulnerable child by the Department of Social Development must provide a completed Vulnerable Child Declaration form completed by a social worker.

Other documents that may be required, if applicable:

Retrenchment letter
Death certificate/s
Divorce Decree
Proof of legal guardianship
Marriage certificate

What are the Requirements to Apply for NSFAS Online 2024

You must have email and cell phone number
You must be a South African citizen / permanent resident
SASSA recipients automatically qualify for financial eligibility
Your combined gross household income should not exceed R350 000 per annum
Your combined gross household income (persons living with disabilities) should not exceed R600 000 per annum
