What Does NSFAS Bursary 2025 Pay 2025

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme, NSFAS Funding bursary for 2025-2026 covers the cost of tuition, and some additional expenses related to your studies, which include:

Document To Send For NSFAS Application 2025

The following documents are required to apply online for the NSFAS 2025/2026 academic year;

  • Students with disabilities must provide:

A completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form.

  • Students recognised as vulnerable children must provide:

An applicant recognised as a vulnerable child by the Department of Social Development must provide a completed Vulnerable Child Declaration form completed by a social worker.

  • Other documents that may be required, if applicable:
  1. Retrenchment letter
  2. Death certificate/s
  3. Divorce Decree
  4. Proof of legal guardianship
  5. Marriage certificate
  6. other documents may be required for appeal purposes eg retrenchment letter.

Based on the application type, the system will generate a list of required documents for upload. We do not accept any affidavits or driver’s licenses as proof of ID.
