Application Date For NSFAS 2025-2026

NSFAS has opened its application site to qualified students in need of financial aid to pursue their studies. The application site will be open from September 17, 2024, until November 30, 2024.

Prospective students should submit their applications before the deadline, since late applications may not be considered for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Requirements for NSFAS Online Application 2025-2026

To be funded by NSFAS 2025, the applicant must be a South African citizen planning to study in 2024 or is currently enrolled at a public university or TVET college and meet the following criteria, you are eligible for an NSFAS bursary:

Citizens of South Africa or permanent residents
Recipients of SASSA grants
Applicants with a combined total family income of less than R350 000 per year are eligible.
Individuals with disabilities whose combined gross household income does not exceed R600,000 per year.
You must have an email address and a cell phone number.
